Thirty years ago, my late husband, Nik Reid, and I founded Avanti Real Estate Services, with the intent of helping make your dreams come true! We firmly believed that homeownership was one of the most important pathways to achieving economic growth and prosperity for many who had not been able to realize the American dream of owning a home.
We were committed to the success of our business, but our measure of success was more than just making a dollar, we also wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, we set out to achieve our mission by offering homeownership counseling, affordable home financing workshops, and credit counseling clinics. We even hosted the radio show “Anyone Can Own” that demystified homeownership and financing for underserved communities.
As a resident business owner in Columbia Heights, Avanti Real Estate Services has also been privileged to provide numerous employment opportunities to area residents. Moreover, we have assisted hundreds of first-time homebuyers and other clients buy and sell homes all over the District of Columbia as well as the entire D.C. Metropolitan area.
